We offer dove, pheasant and quail hunting. We will be hunting for wild birds over a variety of terrain. Plenty of rain this year will provide one of the best crops of dove in years. Extend your hunt to include upland and waterfowl action.

Tule Creek Outfitters is located in Tulia, Texas about one hour south of Amarillo and one hour north of Lubbock. Transportation to and from either airport can be arranged for your convenience.
We prefer first time guests arriving before 6PM the first night to get settled in at Tule Creek Lodge and shown around the grounds. Explore The Lodge
Hunters usually have breakfast at around 6-6:30AM (if desired). Breakfast is on your own, but we can give your directions to different places to eat.
We depart for our hunting location around 7AM and will usually hunt until noon, of course that is dependent on reaching bag limits.
Many hunters enjoy lunch in town – check out these amazing food options. Hunting usually resumes around 1:30PM and we will continue to hunt until limits are reached, the hunters are ready to “call it a day” or legal shooting time expires.
Complimentary bird care will commences while dinner is prepared and served to all guests. If time allows and parties desire we will gather around the fire pit for celebration and story telling.
Head out for our hunting location around 7AM and will usually hunt until noon, of course that is dependent on reaching bag limits. Guest will depart shortly after the morning hunt and bird care.

You will benefit from habitat management that has been incorporated in farming operations to provide for large populations of dove, pheasant and quail. Hunt cultivated cropland, shelterbelts, CRP land, rangeland and playa lake bottoms for the ultimate in upland bird hunting.
The western 2/3rds of the Texas Panhandle is Part of the Llano Estacado a region comprised of one of the largest mesas or tablelands in North America. The eastern part of the Texas Panhandle is “off the Cap” and typically better habitat large populations of dove, pheasant and quail.
The Limiting factor for dove, pheasant and quail on top of the Caprock is woody cover, but the agriculture grain crops and playa lake density make for some of the best ring-neck pheasant habitat in North America.
Large grains (wheat, corn, milo) combined with small grains (smartweed, millet, and numerous grasses) favorable cover, and water makes up a perfect recipe for upland game birds.
Roughly 10,000 acres of upland hunting land and a 1,400-acre preserve assure ample opportunity, and hunter success. The preserve dove hunts take place on 1400 acres that is managed for upland birds that are released many times during the year.
Experienced guides with a string of seasoned pointers (for pointing birds) and labs (for flushing and retrieving) make for a great experience afield. During almost every hunt you will hear someone say, “Wow! I just like being out here to watch the dogs work.”
